Dalseong Wetland, covering a total area of 2 million square meters at the confluence of the Nakdong River and Geumho River, is a sprawling inland wetland. In spring, it blooms with vibrant yellow water lilies, while summer brings forth aquatic plants. In autumn, it is adorned with silver grass and reeds, and in winter, we can observe otters and migratory birds such as cranes and swans. Dalseong Wetland offers a beautiful and diverse landscape throughout the four seasons for visitors to enjoy. During the late 2000s, concerns about water scarcity brought international attention to Singapore's water industry, leading to the establishment of this industry hub. This cluster encompasses a wide range of water-related businesses, from water membrane technology to purification techniques. Daegu Metropolitan City, which gained recognition for hosting the 2015 World Water Forum, successfully attracted the water industry cluster to its region, with construction completed in September 2019.
